Environmentally Friendly Packaging Solutions

At Industrial Polythene, we offer a range of more environmentally friendly packaging solutions that utilise eco-friendly, sustainable alternatives to help reduce environmental impact, and lower your carbon footprint with reduced emissions.

IP Plant

IP Plant is a bio based material made from sugarcane. It’s the process of photosynthesis that makes the product carbon neutral. The product is 100% recyclable. The sugar cane actively captures CO2 from the atmosphere, while at the same time releasing oxygen, making the product not just green, but proactively green.

The film is PAS2050 certified. Available in a range of products such as collation shrink film, pallet covers and top sheets, mailing bags and films, food grade polythene bags and dolav liners, form film seal packing, plasterboard covers, hand and machine film.

PCW: What is Post-Consumer Waste (PCW) polythene?

Polythene containing a minimum of 30% PCW reduces the consumption of fossil fuels which are used to produce virgin grade PE. It also reduces the amount of packaging waste sent to landfills, which fills the oceans and pollutes the environment.

In doing this process, we all reduce pollution and single use plastics and ultimately increase recycling.

IP Performance (IPP)

We strive to provide better packaging solutions for our customers to help protect and despatch goods without compromising on performance or quality.

IPP is a lightweight, high performance co-extruded film, offering significant levels of strength whilst offering substantial cost savings against mono layered films.

The film is engineered from a unique blend of polymer, with additives to make the film very high strength and as a multi-layered film, it has unrivalled dart impact, tear resistance and durability.

As it’s a lightweight high performing film, we are able to reduce the amount of material used in the manufacturing of the product, thus helping our customers meet their sustainability commitments.

We supply IPP in all of the products listed in our range, and this can be all colours, plain and printed.
